another boring day at work. so glad i brought along my cleo mag to accompany me. it was only towards the end of the day , then i got busy packing those mini designer cakes. packed at least 250 of it. phew... very pretty looking right..ha. and i bought durian puffs to bring to my granny's after work. a box of 20 for $34. but i had staff discount, so its $29.10. kinda ex yea? but treat my family and relatives once in awhile shud be alright.

17th of dec:

went to jessica's xmas dinner! woo..was fun. most importantly, her parents' cooking were fab. shall let the pictures do the talking!

fortunately, the christmas period is finally OVER! YAY!!! during the 20 plus of dec, we worked till late night, even up till midnight. the orders just kept coming in, and we kept updating & checking them on that stupid lousy windows 97 computer. my eyes were so strained till they really looked like -.- this. phew..

on the way home, we saw someone that looked like weidi!! lol..amazing. but i think weidi looks better. haha..

and dooms day finally came on the 24th. last year, during the festive season, they only recieved about a 100 plus orders. this year, we had 600 orders! thats crazy! imagine all the work we have to do to prepare all those stuff. >.<> glasses was hell!! still have to battle with the crowd..in one minute, i can only walk like 20 steps. sheesh..

after work on the 25th, we had a mini xmas dinner party. we had like 2 huge gammon ham, a turducken, mashed potatos, salmon & spinach coulibiac and loads..couldn finish up all, so they took some home, and threw the extras. haha..they were extras anyway. after the dinner, rushed down to yishun to go to my aunt's xmas dinner party. miss her cat loads. haha..and all my aunts were like drunk. faces were red, and kept talking rubbish and laughing. lol..v funny. anyway, couldn eat much there. so played mahjong with my cousins.

yesterday, shihui came to find me to pass me my birthday pressie. its from her and joanna. haha..yesyes, my bday is in oct. but i guess we were both too busy to meet up. ):

almost died of boredom. for the whole day, i only recieved like 6 to 7 calls. seriously nothing to do. 4 days left to work. just treasure it bah. anyway, i get paid to slack. teehee..

have been working from 9am to 9pm for the last few days. cos my collegue took 2 off days to see her beloved xiao zhu. lol..at marina square. she took many photos and videos of him..and i realised that his side view look alot like JAY!~ wooo...

anyway, have been working my butt off. soo many calls and paper work coming in. arghhh! boohoo...well, at least i found something that will motivate me to go to work. tee-hee-hee... xD

ohya, reen is coming to join me at work next tues. but she starts later and ends earlier than me. boohoo...nvm, can suffer all the work together!

on thursday, met up with him for dinner. very long didnt see him. went to delifrance for dinner. yummmyyy.... =p

those were the customers i faced today. one of them refuse to send me their credit forms, another refuse to fax back their order, and the other is questioning why is there 3 cents more! -.-

omg..today must be the busiest day i have work. endless calls, endless updating of entry, endless paperwork. and tomorrow must start wrapping big hampers again..hheelllppp!!! even had super late lunch, too much work to finish. >.< earning money is tough work. boohoo..

when i was about to deposit money at the bank in orchard station, i saw hendrick. of all days, i must see someone i know today, when im dressed the worst. wasnt in the mood to go work or dress properly today, too tired. so after i deposited, i said bye and ran off. lol..

was quite busy in the call centre. just one day alone, we recieved 32 orders. imagine how many times the phone rang, and many times i need to call out to confirm their orders again. so much paper work today. phew.. >.<

and i got my first pay le. 293 bucks for 6 days of work. and i predict i will get more next week, cos most likely working from 9am to 9pm. getting busier everyday..boohoo


after work, drop by far east to get the 'purpur' membership card (from yesterday's shopping spree in ONE shop). i forgot which floor was that shop at, so i went round and round and up and down and round and round and up and down again. in the end, when i finally recognised the shop, i realised i passed it 3 times already. stupid me!

bought MnM's cripsy mints, to accompany me on my long way home. also bought tim tam for my mum. she LOVES tim tam too!! and its special edition. its called " Love Potion". choc and raspberry flavoured. YUMMY! the raspberry was like flowing out! gosh...

and my mum bought this for us. weeeee~

woooooo! went to town with 3 of my dearest girlfriends, jess sheila and cat. unfortunately, it was raining. it sucks to be in orchard when it's raining. seriously.

anyway, as usual, we still had fun together. brings back many memories when i was still a part of PJ. ): ok..enough of emo-ness. we went around looking at clothes, mainly for christmas gifts. and tomorrow is cat's BIRTHDAY! guess the next time we meet up will only be next monday. but nvm, will make u a pretty pretty card, with a dress that we all chip in! when sheila and cat went back, me n jess when round far east AGAIN. kinda sick of far east already. went round and round and round and round. finally, we bought sheila's, jess's and my pressies from the same shop. and all the same design, just that all diff colours. STUPID RIGHT??? but maybe cos the top is nice? sheila's turquoise. jess's grey. mine's cream white. and all of them are glittery!! its fab! love it. but we spent like about an hour in that shop?? lol..and that salesgirl is wayyy too bubbly? hahaha.. and everything was charged to me. boohoo..i will deposit everything when i get back straight away. heart pain ):

went to watch HITMAN today. quite a nice movie..prefer enchanted! haha, jessica, DONT KILL ME! i think he's quite good looking in the movie. the one in the game is definitely much older, and with more wrinkles! =x

another day of work. super slack today, as there werent many calls. started learning to wrap hampers today. and my back starting to ache, just like when i had canoe training in the past. sigh..anyway, my collegue brought her lappie, so decided to watch "tale of two sisters" online. but took a super long time to load..ended up only watching the first 10 mins of the movie only. boohoo..

had to leave right on time to vivo's tung lok to celebrate my granny's bday. their food were quite a disappointed. only LOVE their dessert. BEST mango and pomelo sago dessert ever! and their peach bun is so tiny and cute!





hope u guys wont change, though i think u will. looks like we will drift apart after i leave PJ. sigh.... ):

im BACK!

have not updated my blog for quite some time. many things happened during the last few days. i shall start from...

SUNDAY:
went for the standard chartered 10km marathon in the morning. woke up at like 5 plus in the morning. i ran with reen throughout the marathon. during the first few kilos, i almost died. worst stitches ever, and no matter how much i continue running, the pain is still there. boohoo..ended up walking for quite a distance. jog and stop..but the last few kilos were quite ok. guess i got the momentum already. finished the marathon on 1 hour and 23 mins plus.
then after the marathon, went back to esplanade to wash up. on the way, we saw some people as they were walking pass us, the faces they gave us were like shit loh! as though we did something terribly wrong. they have no right to do what they did. " dont worry, they are not like that! just come!" as if!! im so glad i didnt go!

at bout evening, met up with reen again to go work at a banquet in raffles hotel. it was damn hectic lah..and 90% of the part timers there were china girls. DONT LIKE! ):
anyway, the higher posts there treated us as though we know everything. in actual fact, we know NOTHING. felt so blur and stupid. and i only reached home at 2am. thanks to the late buses and public transportation which had already stopped. will never go back there!

i think the uniform is hideous. oh well..
why chinese names?? boohoo.. ):


MONDAY:
my first day of work in goodwood park hotel. started by learning how to recieve calls and take down orders of christmasy food. worked from 9am to 9pm in the call center. there werent many calls..ended spending most of my time doodling and looking at pictures food in the menus. lol..ohya..and most of the people there are malaysians. i love their cantonese slangs!! ok.....random.



TUESDAY to FRIDAY:
worked from 10am to 7pm for the next few days. i think i get memorise almost the whole menu already. lol..i was quite interested in one of the item "Turducken". chicken stuff in duck stuff in turkey! interesting right?? costs $248. must be a huge turket and a tini chicken. wonder how it tastes like..haha
anyway, we started packing hampers already. i helped by tying up thoses boxes of royal icing fruit cakes. pretty isnt it? haha..

had free cake!! crunchy hazelnut base! yummy!! im so going to gain 2kg after december!
OHHH!!! JAY STAYED IN GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL WHEN HE LAST CAME TO SINGAPORE!!!
and my collegue actually saw him swimming in the pool just in front of the deli. ENVIED!! his pictures are all over orchard mrt station now. ohya..F4 and zhang hui mei stayed there too.
finally manage to find a turquoise colored top that i liked! bought it at far east after work.
